Description
Iron on fusible buckram fabric is a stiff, coarse fabric made from woven cotton. It is commonly used in hat-making, bookbinding, and as a stiffening agent in clothing. Buckram is known for its durability and ability to hold its shape well, making it a popular choice for projects that require structure and stiffness.
Iron on glue is on one reverse side only – it is not suitable for attaching one fabric to another.
Easy to use: Place the iron-on buckram with the adhesive(shinny) side upward and then place the fabric you want to attach it to on top of it with the wrong side of fabric facing downward. Make sure the fabrics are aligned properly. Press the iron onto the fabric, applying firm and even pressure. Move the iron in a slow, circular motion to ensure even heat distribution for 15-20 seconds. Avoid using steam during this process. Allow the fabric to cool completely before handling. This will ensure that the adhesive sets properly. Once cooled, lift the fabric and check if the iron-on fabric has adhered properly. If not, reapply heat for a few more seconds.
