Elugel is a cleansing oral gel that is used in addition to periodontal and implant treatments, in cases of sensitive gums or when people can not brush their teeth effectively.
The high viscosity of Elugel helps to stay longer where there is a problem and to be very effective. A study in 40 patients has shown that Elugel is effective in reducing gingivitis. Elugel tooth gel is suitable for postoperative care and for cases where the teeth cannot be brushed. Apply topically to the irritated area and for even greater action, avoid drinking or eating anything for 30 minutes after use.
