The latest V3 puck screen is designed to better enhance the taste of your espresso. Thinner and more mesh than the normal espresso puck strainers.
0.8mm thick 316 stainless steel with 0.18mm (180 micron) laser etched filtration holes. The filter screen is 11848 mesh.

Double layer filter, by carefully processing small holes in the larger holes, the strainer forces water from the group head to soften and significantly reduces channelling and hot spots in the espresso puck.
